in tetrahydrofuran; dichloromethane addn. of a soln. of Co-complex in THF to a soln. of Mn-compd. in THF/CH2Cl2 under N2, stirring at room temp. for 30 min, colour changes from purple/brown to red/brown; removal of solvent in vacuo, extn. with hexane to yield a yellow fraction, extn. of hexane insoluble solid with CH2Cl2 give a brown fraction;
