in neat (no solvent) byproducts: (CH3)3SiF; (CH3)3SiN(SCF3)2 was cooled to -30°C and BBr3 added dropwise with with vigorous stirring; stirring was continued at 20 degree.C for 12 h; react. performed under Ar;; BF3 and Me3SiF were condensed in traps at -80 and -196°C, the react. mixt. was separated by fractionated condensation at -30, -80, and -196°C, not isolated, quantification by 11B NMR;;
