TiO2 placed in KOH-KNO3 melt; kept (500°C, 2 h); placed in H2O; filtered; dried (60°C, 6 h); added to aq. soln. of Ni salt at 23°C; stirred for 6 h; dried (60°C, 4 h); heated (350°C, 1 h and 850°C, 1 h); detd. by X-ray powder diffraction; composite nanomaterial consisting of K1.35Ni(x)Ti(8-x)O16 solid soln., Ti2O3 and NiO obtained;
