HCl in water; ethylenediamine High Pressure; ethylenediamine and NH4F were added with stirring to aq. soln. of Y(NO3)3; HCl was added to pH 1-7; agitated for 30 min; heated in autoclave at 180°C for 12 h; cooled to room temp.; collected; washed (EtOH, H2O); dried at 80°C for 12 h; calcined at 600°C for 4 h;
