trisodium citrate; NaOH in water High Pressure; Gd2O3 dissolved in HCl soln. at elevated temp., added to a soln. of trisodium citrate, stirred for 30 min, NaBF4 added, pH adjusted to 3 with NaOH soln., agitated for 15 min, heated at 180°C in an autoclave; cooled naturally to room temp., centrifuged, washed (H2O, EtOH), dried in air at 80°C for 24 h;
