in pentane byproducts: LiBr; soln. stirred at -50°C for 2 h; volatiles condensed for 6 h in vac. at -196°C, (CH3)2BNCH3B(CH3)2 obtained from condensate after fractional distn., residue was hexamethylborazine;

in diethyl ether byproducts: LiBr;
