CF3COOH in tetrahydrofuran Cooled soln. of Fe complex (-20°C, Ar) is dropwise treated with LiHBEt3 over 5 min, stirring (0.5 h, 1 h without cooling bath), evapn., cooling to -78°C, addn. of CH2Cl2, addn. of CF3COOH, stirring for 15 min, then 15 min at room temp.; Evapn., addn. of n-hexane and H2O, extn. of aq. layer with n-hexane, drying of organic soln. (Na2SO4), chromy. (silica gel, n-hexane, CH2Cl2);
