a soln. of the Pt complex in CHCl3, under a stream of CO, is treated with water and the soln. stirred for 10 min; to the formed ppt. of (H3O)2(Pt3(CO)6)(n) (n>=10) is added methyl 2-butynoate; solid filtered off, washed with CHCl3 and hexane, and dried; elem. anal.;
