in tetrahydrofuran A mixt. of BrCH2C6H4CH2Br and Na(MO(cp)(CO)3) in THF is stirred at roomtemp. for 1.5 h.; The soln. is filtered to remove NaBr, concd. in vacuo and treated with methanol to give yellow crystals of (Mo(cp)(CO)3)CH2C6H4CH2((CO)3(cp)Mo);
