Kinetics; byproducts: HCl, C2H6; (Ar); using Schlenk techniques; addn. of soln. of (C2H5)2AlCl (12 equiv.) in petroleum ether to stirred suspn. of NdCl3*6H2O (1 equiv.) in toluene for 20 min at 40, 50, 70 and 90°C; stirring for 190 min; pptn., filtration, washing of solid twice with toluene and drying under vac., removal of solvent from filtrate in vac., elem. anal.;
