本品存在于天然苏和香脂中,具有类似水果的香气,气息清而甜润,有东方香调。与香紫苏油及天然果子精油合用效果较好,尤其用于香粉,香水,香精中更佳，食品杨梅香精中亦可使用。我国GB-2760-1996规定为允许使用的食用香料。用于着香，柿子脱涩，制作香辛料的颗粒或片剂，酿醋配料。广泛用于配制樱桃，桃，杏等水果型香精及白兰地等酒用香精。亦用作胶姆糖胶基醋酸乙烯酯的溶剂，色素稀释剂，也用于茶和水果，蔬菜等。因沸点高，宜用于焙烤类食品。 |
