1.由五氯酚经氧化而得。将20%的五氯酚钠溶液加入反应釜内，用等摩尔的35%盐酸酸化，搅拌成糊状。然后按五氯酚钠重量的6%投入无水三氯化铁，升温至70℃以上，开始通氯，保持反应温度95℃以上，至反应油状物完全澄明无颗粒为终点。分去水层，取消同状物加98%浓硫酸酸化，即得四氯苯醌。
