P(C6H5)3; water; CO2 in methanol byproducts: H2; under N2, addn. of Cu-compd. to a methanol soln. of PPh3 containing water, after 10 min CO2 was bubbled and the temp. raised up to 50°C; evapn. to dryness, treated with diethyl ether, filtered off, washed with diethyl ether, dried under vac.;
