in hexane byproducts: (C6H5)4Sn, (C6H5)6Sn2; addn. of 20 g (C6H5)3SnOH and 8 g phenyl propiolic acid to 1.5 ml benzene, distn. of soln. until volume was reduced to 250 ml, removal of benzene in vac., decarboxylation of residue in vac. at 443 K;; extractn. with ligroin, chromatography (SiO2/ligroin), crystn. of (C6H5)4Sn and (C6H5)6Sn from concd. soln. on cooling, crystn. of desired product on further cooling, recrystn. from ligroin; elem. anal., m.p.;
