in toluene byproducts: bis(2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphenyl)P2Cl2, bis(trimethylsilyl)acetylene; using Schlenk techniques; dissolving of Cp2Ti(Me3SiC)2 (2.0 mmol) in toluene at -78°C; addn. of (2,4,6-tert-butylphenyl)PCl2 (4.0 mmol) by syringe; stirring for 15 min; warming to room temp.; stepwise removal of solvent; cooling to -40°C; crystn.;
