in neat (no solvent) under N2 or Ar; mixt. of (AlH3)(n) and NaAlEt4 heated to 125°C for 1 h; stored at 100°C for 2 h; liq. distd. off in vac. at 70-80°C and 1 Torr (Et3Al, 64percent, and Et2AlH, 36percent); solid extd. with toluene (NaEt2AlH2); treated with THF (NaAlH4); elem. anal.;
